To promote a winning enviroment that provides athletes the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through each athletes commitment to hard work, success is the ultimate reward. 



The Speed School Inc. started in April of 2008 with 15 high school athletes. "The ball started rolling" in result of the explosion of the word of mouth that St. Charles native and Speed School athlete Matt Payne box squatted 615 lbs. The video was posted on youtube and from there The Speed School became the recommended force in strength and agility training for the Chicagoland's west suburbs. In 2009, The Speed School began training high school programs such as football, softball, lacrosse and eventually expanded to over 150 athletes. In November of 2010 the facility doubled in size. In 2015, The Speed School Inc. expanded its training to ALL SPORTS with the commitment of preparing every athlete for the mindset of moving on to play collegiate sports.

PHIL DEMONTE has been actively involved in health care and fitness for most of his life. He has competed and coached Gymnastics at the elite level. Phil attended Illinois State University studying Exercise Physiology. He has 5 years clinical Nursing experience in Intensive Care. Phil has been training in health club setting, since 1996. He holds certifications as a personal trainer in both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and American Council on Exercise.

Phil has a caring philosophy that centers on individual needs for healthy lifestyle changes. He has partnered up with people with varying goals, from those who just need a jump-start to get fit, to some who have had many challenging obstacles to overcome including: gastric bypass surgery, Parkinson’s disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue just to name a few.

He specializes in post injury rehabilitation, balance and stability, speed, agility and power training, weight loss and boot-camps. He values sharing a positive outlook towards the education of fitness for a balanced life. He also realizes the importance of consistency and challenge to achieve goals. Phil and his family enjoy everything active including mountain biking, jogging, local races and charity events.
